The Opportunity

We are looking for a Technical Content Writer (Product Marketing/Social Media Champ) who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and impactful content. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in product marketing and content creation, especially in the tech domain, and will be able to drive brand positioning through social media, campaigns, and product storytelling.

Core Responsibilities

• ‍Content Creation: Write clear, compelling, and technically accurate content such as blogs, product documentation, case studies, whitepapers, website messaging, social media posts, and email campaigns. Product Marketing: Collaborate with product and sales teams to deeply understand product features, positioning, and customer needs, and craft messaging that highlights value.‍
• Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute content strategies for social media that build awareness, engagement, and thought leadership around the product.‍
• Campaign Support: Create content for product launches, email campaigns, webinars, and customer communications. Support on all designs, content, networking, coordination and execution, for larger events, where DataOrb is either participating or presenting.‍
• Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor messaging, and recommend insights to shape relevant and impactful messaging, through all our interactions.‍
• Collaboration: Work closely with design, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Desired Experience

• ‍Proven experience (2–5 years) in technical content writing and product marketing.
• Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts into user-friendly, engaging content.
• Experience with B2B/B2C product marketing in the tech/software/SaaS domain preferred.
• Hands-on experience in building social media campaigns and content calendars.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with SEO, analytics, and content distribution best practices is a plus.

Good to Have

• Experience in AI/Analytics/Contact Center or related tech domains.
• Knowledge of tools like HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, or social media management platforms.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or related field and -
• A technical background (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, IT) with strong writing skills.
• Master’s degree (MBA/MA in Marketing, Communications, or Technology Management) is a plus and will be considered.
