The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented and cross-functional Data Operations Specialist to join our growing DataOps team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and operational readiness of our data pipelines and prompt systems. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments and possesses a keen eye for data anomalies, testing strategies, and documentation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Sample and evaluate contact center interactions (chat, email, and voice) to ensure quality assurance standards are met.
  • Perform bulk data testing to identify anomalies and define post-processing methodologies.
  • Evaluate generative AI outputs and contribute to the development of prompt and evaluation guidelines to align with client goals
  • Analyze data for trend shifts following model updates and upgrades.
  • Conduct transcription benchmarking to support continuous model accuracy assessments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., Prompt Manager) for prompt parity reviews and updates.
  • Collaborate on the development of small automation scripts to streamline recurring tasks
  • Support end-to-end product testing in collaboration with QA teams.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and clarify requirements.
  • Translate product requirements into actionable user stories and support grooming sessions.
  • Handle ad hoc data requests for experiments and research initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain delivery plans.
  • Manage and maintain sandboxes used for testing and experimentation.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for tools, processes, and workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in DataOps, Data QA, or a related analytics/operations role.
  • Strong understanding of data validation, machine learning pipelines, and prompt systems.
  • Hands-on experience working with large datasets using tools such as SQL, Python, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for high-quality, well-documented work.

Desired Experience

  • Background in working on SaaS products
  • Experience with AI/ML products
  • Experience in conversational AI or NLP-based product environments.
  • Exposure to transcription or benchmarking tools.
  • Prior client-facing experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and story grooming processes.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Or Master’s degree in one of the following fields:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Information Technology)
  • Masters of Computer Science
  • Master of Engineering (Information Technology)

OR

Equivalent professional experience in DataOps Specialist (typically 3+ additional years of hands-on experience beyond the base requirement)
